Provides an unforgettable experience from the patient's point of view to bolster empathy and understanding throughout your care team, and reinforces best practices through practical simulations. Teaches CAM-ICU, communication best practices, and alternatives to restraint. While this program is set in the ICU, the education is applicable to all care settings--anywhere patients may be at risk for delirium.
DelTrain™ VR Pediatric ICU Delirium
While the effects of delirium and PICS can be devastating for adults, pediatric cases of delirium can result in developmental issues that can forever alter the course of a child's life. Based on the acclaimed Adult ICU Delirium VR platform, this program provides a pediatric delirium experience utilizing authentic hallucination content. Teaches both pCAM and CAPD assessments. Applicable to all care settings.
