Wired Casting
Follow these steps to cast your Quest 3 using a wired connection:
- Connect a high-quality USB-C cable to your Quest 3 headset.
- Plug the other end of the cable into your PC or laptop.
- Put on your Quest 3 headset, and allow the connection by selecting "Allow" when prompted.
- On your PC, open the Oculus app and select "Devices" from the sidebar menu.
- Choose "Add Headset" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
- Once connected, select "Sharing" from the Quest 3 menu, then choose "Cast" and select the connected PC or laptop.
- You can now see your VR experience on your PC screen with minimal latency.

Wireless Casting
Follow these steps to cast your Quest 3 wirelessly:
- Make sure your Quest 3 and the casting device (PC, TV, or phone) are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Put on your Quest 3 headset and press the Oculus button on the right controller to open the Universal Menu.
- Select "Sharing" from the menu, then choose "Cast".
- Choose the device you want to cast to (e.g., Chromecast or a device with the Oculus app).
- If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup on the casting device.
- Once connected, you will see your VR experience on the selected device screen.
- Enjoy your VR experience wirelessly without the limitations of cables!
